If rumors are to be believed, then the much awaited tablet Mi Pad 3 from Xiaomi might be launched in china on 30th December. These rumors are fuelled by a report from the popular tabloid Gizmochina, which has not only mentioned the specs but has also speculated the price of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 in China. The 128 GB model of the Mi Pad 3 will be priced at CNY 1,999, while the 256 GB model will bear a price tag of CNY 2,299. Alongwith the tablet, Xiaomi will also launch a magnetic keyboard worth CNY 99 on the same day.
Xiaomi has been said to bring some major upgrades with Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 when compared to the earlier Mi Pad 2 tablet, one notable upgrade is the inclusion of an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which will be present on the front, below the display.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 will feature a 9.7-inch QXGA display (2048 x 1536 pixels), all fitted inside a 239.5×164.5 x 6.08mm frame and will weigh around 380 grams. Another interesting fact disclosed about Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is that it will come only with Windows 10 OS, unlike its predecessor Mi Pad 2 which was launched in both Android OS and Windows OS options. This all-metal tablet will get its juice from a rather large 8290mAh battery, which is also speculated to feature a fast charging support.
We’re eagerly waiting for this amazing tablet to get released. Although, I would have preferred if the tablet came with both OS options, but nevertheless it will one of the most powerful tablets and I simply can’t wait to get my hands on it.
