Samsung launched its much coveted and anticipated flagship device Galaxy Note7 just a few weeks back. The device boasts top of the line specs and is in itself a state of the art. This can easily be anticipated from the fact that Samsung is facing difficulty in meeting the ever going demand for this device and had to beef up its production.
However, a very queer case has turned up on Baidu where a Galaxy Note7 user has claimed that his almost new (about 2 weeks old) Samsung Galaxy Note7 exploded while charging. While this might seem pretty odd and improbable, but the user has posted the pics of his exploded Galaxy Note 7 to corroborate his claim.
Although exact details aren’t yet known, but it is known that the person was using a microUSB to Type-C converter while charging his Galaxy Note 7 when the device suddenly exploded. Thankfully, no personal injury was incurred by the user. The user seems to be perhaps from China and it hasn’t yet been confirmed whether he was using the official Galaxy Note7 charger or not.
We hope that this stays as an isolated incidence which occurred due to a faulty Galaxy Note 7 unit cause if more of such occurrences surface, then it would be a matter of grave concern. Please note that although the pictures seem authentic but we can not totally vouch for it, so use your own discretion and take this with a pinch of salt. Till then, stay tuned.
