Here is a new useful enhancement in iOS 10, in which you can set that sent pictures of lower quality while forwarding. Thus they have photos that you send via the Messages app in iOS smaller and consume less data. This feature is useful for those who often struggle with their Data limit and when a large number of submitted photos can save a considerable part of the data.
In previous versions of iOS you could have sent only photo in its original size and resolution. To send lower quality picture, which had a smaller size, you have to insert it into a new email in which you are offered the possibility of reduction. This is the new version of iOS 10 and changing the settings, you can turn on “Low-quality images.” The size and resolution of the resulting images submitted is then dependent on the size and resolution of the original photos.
How to activate Low-quality images and saving the data sent
- Go to your iOS device Settings.
- In the menu, scroll to Messages.
- Right at the bottom is the “Low-quality images” to activate.
It will automatically upload all the pictures sent via the Messaging application in a reduced form of a lower quality. Mostly but not between the original and the new picture a big difference and less quality is not a problem. If you do not so much a function does not suit you, you can simply re-using the same steps to deactivate.
