Delay caused by TSMC and Samsung affect Apple to keep up schedule for new iPad
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and Samsung have not produced required number of processors which is going to result that in March 2017 we will not see the new iPad, reports MacRumors citing Taiwanese insiders.
New iPad will be equipped with A10X (10-Nanometer Chips) which perform comparatively better than the previous version that of A10. New iPad consume less power. These characteristics of the processor will make iPad efficient and that boosts Apple to plan for most of its users, desktops, and laptops. Gadget presentation may get the delay in 2017 due to the insufficient number of processor production.
TSMC and Samsung failed to meet schedule and did not deliver processors with new technology on time, that was expected late 2016 to keep up schedule. Apple, Qualcomm, MediaTek and HiSilicon are affected by this and looks strange rumors about TSMC testing 5-nanometer process technology
However Apple will come up with 9.7 and 12.9 inch iPad in coming year, this also released in the 10.9-inch model with an ultra thin frame around the display and attractive part is No physical Home button. This was announced to be in the market by March but the schedule mismatch by previous departments made us hard to expect. Let us wait until March.
