Great news Windows Insiders. The new Insider Preview build is finally out after a long wait and thankfully it’s not disappointing. It had been over a month since Microsoft released any Preview build for the Fast Ring, but the wait is finally over. Microsoft has started rolling out an all-new Windows 10 build 15002 (Creators Update Preview build) for the Windows Insiders.
Windows 10 build 15002 is the first Insider Preview build of the year and as expected it packs a host of new and exciting features. The list of the new features is so long that it was difficult for us to sum up the whole change-log. However, a few major highlights would be the addition of many new features to the Microsoft Edge including an option to preview tabs of all sites. Many other options like the Web Payments, Jump List tasks, etc. have been added to the Edge Browser.
Further, the Windows 10 build 15002 allows you to capture a portion of your screen by pressing Win + Shift + S. VPN, Cortana, Windows Ink, Start Menu, Shell, Windows Share, Desktop Scaling, etc. have also been updated and improved. Windows Defender has also been updated and it now includes an option of Refresh Windows which will help users in reinstalling and updating Windows to get rid of slow PC experience. Lunar Calendar has been added and the blue light has been reduced. Other notable features include improved high-DPI support, smooth Windows resize, Desktop Icon Placement and Scaling Improvements and the option to set aside tabs.
These are just a few of the major highlights of the Windows 10 build 15002. You can visit the official Microsoft website for the complete changelog. Also, please note that you’ll only receive this update if you’ve opted for the Windows Insider Preview Program.
