Apple went jackless with the iPhone 7 and thus the wireless Apple AirPods were born. Apple AirPods are unique in their own way and seamlessly connect with all of your Apple devices without any hassle. The AirPods not only provide a completely wireless experience but are also very snug and fit nicely into the ears. However, even these blue-eyed Apple infants aren’t full proof.
The Apple AirPods suffer from a lot of lacunas. The first is the ‘lilliputian’ size of these AirPods which make them very prone to getting lost. You might very easily lose or misplace one and will have to pay Apple a handsome sum to have one of these replaced. The other problem is that although the Apple AirPods offer a very balanced and good quality audio output, but these aren’t definitely for the audiophiles. The bass is not so deep and the treble is also not up to the mark as one would expect. The other major flaw is the less to almost no sound isolation offered by the Apple Airpods. Forget listening music on these in a crowded space.
Well, you need not worry as we’ve a perfect AirPods’ replacement for you which outperforms the AirPods on almost every front. Yes, you guessed it right. We’re indeed talking about the recently launched Beats X powered by the same Apple W1 processor which resides in the AirPods. The Beats X also seamlessly connects to all of your Apple devices and carries a price tag of $150.
The Beats X offers a much better sound isolation, deeper bass and an overall better sound quality than the Apple AirPods. The only drawback which can be attributed to the Beats X would be its wired design but it helps in keeping the earphones intact and makes it less prone to getting lost or misplaced. It doesn’t come with an auto-charging case unlike the AirPods but offers a great battery life. Here’s a comparison video between the Beats X and the Apple AirPods posted by Jonathan Morrison. So have a look yourself and then decide.
