Lenovo has established itself as a brute force in mid-segment smartphones thanks to its Note series. To further fortify its position in this segment, the company has launched its latest smartphone K6 Note in the Indian market. The USP of the device is its gigantic 4,000 mAh battery which should easily last you a complete day and even more and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Let’s look into the features of this device in detail.
The K6 Note sports a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display and is powered by a snappy 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.2GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz) coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The device offers dual-SIM functionality and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In the camera department, there is a 16MP primary camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP secondary front-facing camera. Both the cameras do a decent job in good lighting conditions.
The device will be made available in two variants: 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage. Lenovo. The device will be made available across 15,000 retail stores in the country starting 17th December at a base price of Rs. 13,999. Lenovo is also offering a ANT VR headset and its VR Controller along with the K6 Note at a price of Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 2,800 respectively.
The Lenovo K6 Note indeed packs some really good specs and the device has been even priced very competitively. Although it is bound to face stiff competition in this price range but the device should fare well. It remains to be seen how the K6 Note is received by the consumers. Also, not launching it through the online channels initially doesn’t seem too logical.
