Chinese smartphone maker LeEco just launched its latest flagship device LeEco Le Pro 3 in its home country China today. The LeEco Le Pro 3 is only the second device after the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe to come equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. The device will be made available iin Gold, Grey, and Silver colour variants and the users can register for the flash sale scheduled for next week right now.
The device features a metal unibody design and has been launched in four different variants. The pricing and memory+RAM combo of these variants are as follows:
- 4GB RAM + 32GB storage – CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,100)
- 6GB RAM + 64GB storage – CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,100)
- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage – CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,100)
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage – CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 30,100)
The last two editions are dedicated to the famous Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou. There are also rumours of a 256GB storage variant but it is yet to be confirmed.
As for the specs are concerned, the LeEco Le Pro 3 sports a 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass using the In-Cell touch technology and a picture density of 403ppi. The device sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear and supports dual-SIMs, however, only one SIM supports 4G at a time. Sadly, there is no microSD expansion option, but 64GB or 128GB should be more than enough for most users. It is powered by a 4,070 mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 powering the Le Pro 3 houses a quad-core processor with each core clocking at 2.35GHz. The Snapdragon 821 is coupled with Adreno 530 GPU to provide impeccable gaming and graphics performance. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EUI 5.8 on top.
Just like the iPhone 7, the LeEco Le Pro 3 has also ditched the 3.5mm audio jack. The Le Pro 3 employs the USB Type-C port to provide what it calls a Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) support. The company has promised high quality audio and has employed the Dolby Atmos-powered audio. A headphone adapter will come shipped along with the Le Pro 3 for users to connect their headphones to the USB Type-C port.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 even excels in the camera department too. It sports a 16MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, BSI CMOS sensor among others. There is a 76.5-degree wide-angle 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.
The flash sales are scheduled for next week, so hurry and register now for this very promising device.
