Leaked Images Of LG G6 Hints At Dual-Camera & A Rear Fingerprint Sensor

Leaked Images Of LG G6 Hints At Dual-Camera & A Rear Fingerprint Sensor

The upcoming flagship from LG, the LG G6 has been reportedly spotted online. The leaked images show a shiny black rear with dual cameras at the back. The to-be-announced smartphone has been previously spotted in a number of leaked pictures, hinting at the design and features of the LG G6.

This time Business Insider has shared a picture of the smartphone which suggests it to be the “near-final version” of the LG G6. Being the talk of every techie, the observers have gathered insights from these reports and have now confirmed the earlier reports of LG G6 sporting a dual-camera at the back. The leaked picture also shows the present of a fingerprint scanner along with a G6 branding at the back.

LG has long been working on dual-camera and the camera in G6 is speculated to create a blurry background similar to what we have seen on iPhone 7 Plus. Interestingly, the shiny black rear is also similar to the Jet Black version of the iPhone 7. So, we are of the opinion that the shiny black variant of LG G6 will be a premium and a limited edition version.

Gathering from the series of leaked images we can conclude that G6 will pack a 5.7-inch display, which was confirmed officially by LG last month and a non-removable battery to create a waterproof body. Earlier it was also rumoured that LG may come with Google Assistant, a voice assistant feature similar to iPhone’s Siri. Samsung’s recent romance with Qualcomm has also fuelled the rumours of G6 not being the first smartphone to sport the recently launched Snapdragon 835 SoC, so we are hoping that LG G6 will be powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC instead.

To add further, it is expected that LG may unveil G6 in a company’s event on 26th February ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2017 scheduled in Barcelona. Let’s hope that the LG G6 gets unveiled at the MWC 2017. We’ll keep you posted with the latest updates. So, stay tuned.
