Gadget operation without recharging – a very important indicator. What if you forget to charge your smartphone, and before leaving the house for 10 minutes? Resource SuperSaf TV decided to compare Apple’s flagship smartphone, Google and Samsung on the charging rate to determine which of the device will saturate electrical juices.
Youtube Blogger SuperSaf TV conducted an experiment with three smartphones iPhone 7 Plus, Pixel XL and Galaxy S7 edge. All batteries of different capacity devices – 2900 mAh in the first, the second 3450 mAh and 3600 mAh in the third. As part of the test measures the rate of replenishment of charge from 1% to 100%.
The author experimented smartphones connected to the commercial power supply and used stopwatch to know the exact time to finish full charge. First time charge level checked after half an hour after the start of charging, iPhone 7 Plus showed a 18%, Pixel XL – 24%, Galaxy S7 edge – 46%. The second measurement was done one hour: smartphones charge indicators were at 36%, 54% and 85% respectively.
First came to the finish line Galaxy S7 edge, which charge the battery to 100% in 1 hour and 29 minutes. At the same time iPhone Plus 7 was charged by 54%, and Pixel XL – 84%.Second, as might be expected, it turned out to be Google’s flagship – 2 hours 3 minutes.Apple smartphone came in last. iPhone 7 Plus failed to meet even at three o’clock: the final result – 3 hours 27 minutes.
video creator explained that he did not use the power adapter with the iPhone for the iPad, since the goal was to conduct a “fair trial.” According to him, the majority of buyers use the complete charging, so a more powerful adapter would put into question the purity of the experiment.
