Rumors of an HTC smartwatch have been floating since more than a year now, but so far the company has yet to enter the smartwatch market. According to a new rumor, that’ll change in a couple of months.
Evan Blass, a popular source know for leaking news about products and also known as @evleaks, has indicated in his tweet that an HTC smartwatch will make its debut in February. No details of the device are given, but Blass does tease that HTC’s watch will bear its One branding.
HTC fans, you’ll finally have One watch to call your own come February.

HTC was actually mentioned as an Android Wear partner when Google first announced its wearables platform back in March 2014. Fast-forward to December 2015, though, and HTC is one of the only major Android OEMs that hasn’t yet released an Android Wear device. Past rumors about the HTC smartwatch have been mixed, with some reports suggesting that it’ll have a square face and others saying that it’ll have a round display. For now, it appears as though HTC’s One smartwatch is shrouded in mystery.
What do you hope to see from HTC’s upcoming smartwatch?
