OS X – the system is simple and clear, but some of the features in it are buried deep. Alternative drag files using the trackpad used to be available at once in gestures settings, but with the recent Apple has decided to hide this convenient feature. 

It is a drag three fingers – very simple and useful feature that allows you to quickly select and move files and folders. So here is a very simple guide how quickly drag and drop files and folders on your mac.

Step 1:

To enable this, go to  System Preferences →  Universal access  and look out point in the sidebar  Mouse and trackpad .

Step 2:

Then go to the  Trackpad Settings  and turn on  Drag with three fingers .

Now grab and select multiple files, you can simply move the cursor on them and spent three fingers to the side.
