The much-awaited update to Yalu program which allows jailbreaking of iOS running devices has been recently released. Yalu is a program that is popular for hacking iPhones and iPads with the help of a PC running Windows or Mac Operating Systems. To jailbreak an Apple device users need to install Cydia Impactor on their Mac or Windows computer.
Cydia Impactor is a GUI client used for interacting and working with mobile devices and computers. As of now both the Cydia and Yalu are in their work-in-progress phase, so you need to be cautious while performing jailbreak of your beloved iPhone.
Here’s a complete step-by-step guide on how to jailbreak iOS using Yalu102:
Step 1: Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes to create a backup of your iPhone’s data.
Step 3: Make sure that your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same computer.
Step 4: Run Cydia Impactor on your computer and select the connected devices option.
Step 5: Now transfer the Yalu 102 file to the Cydia Impactor and hit the ‘Start’ button.
Step 6: Login with your iTunes username and password.
Step 7: Now Cydia will itself download the iOS 10.2 jailbreak on your iPhone or iPad so connected.
Step 8: Open ‘Device Management’ on your iPhone or iPad (Settings -> General -> Profile & Device Management), now navigate to the ‘Developer App’ open it and double tap the ‘Trust’ button.
Step 9: Go back to the home page of your iPhone or iPad and search and open the Yalu102 app. Some users may receive a warning of slowing down of their smartphone, ignore it and tap the ‘OK’ button to continue.
After some ignore-worthy warnings, a Cydia icon will appear and if that doesn’t happen repeat the last step.
Step 10: Now reboot your iPhone or iPad.
That’s it, now you have successfully performed jailbreak of your iOS 10.2 running iPhone or iPad.
