Folders are always much convenient and articulate in keeping your apps and files organised. Clubbing similar apps under the same folder not only saves time but makes accessibility much easier and less cumbersome. Any person having loads of apps installed on his smartphone would prefer to club similar apps under a common folder rather than searching for them individually in the app drawer.
However, if you’re an iOS user, you must be knowing that Apple by default doesn’t allow creating a folder directly on the dock. But there’s a simple hack through which you can do this. Just follow these easy steps and you’ll be able to add folders on the iOS dock.
STEP 1: Add all the apps that you wish to club under the same folder on the home screen. If the app already exists in the dock, drag it to the home screen.
STEP 2: If one of the apps that you wish to add in the folder already exists in the dock, then drag it to the home screen.
STEP 3: Now tap and hold one of these apps on the home screen till it starts to wiggle and then drop it over any of the other selected apps.
STEP 4: Repeat this process over and over till all these apps come under the same folder.
STEP 5; Now drag this folder and drop it to the dock. Yup, it is that simple.
