Samsung is still leading the race with market share, but Owners of Samsung’s latest smartphones are eagerly waiting for Android 6.0 to arrive, and by getting some information leaked out throughout these past several weeks, Marshmallow should hit the waves for most of its models in Q1 2016.
However, there are no fixed launch dates for the update, and by the looks of it, Samsung may have pushed back the OTAs a bit further away from us.
To be precise, a new Samsung Marshmallow update roadmap leaked earlier today, indicating that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 which was initially expected to receive Android 6 this December is now planned to receive the software in the first quarter of 2016.
Otherwise, the Galaxy Alpha, which was waiting for approval is now believed to receive Android 6 in Q2 2016, and the same goes for both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8 and 9.7.
