As you might very well be knowing by now that Reliance Jio free era will very soon be history. Although Reliance Jio will still continue to offer free voice calling services as Mr Ambani has repeatedly assured, but using the Jio internet is going to cost you post 31st March. Jio has also launched Jio Prime membership for its current users for a one-time fee of Rs.99. The Jio Prime membership will provide users with much more data than their non-prime counterparts. You can see a comparison of the Jio Prime and Non-Jio Prime plans here.
It is clearly evident that the Jio Prime plan is a must if you wish to continue using the Jio services in future. And you need to do it prior to April 1. There are many recharge sites which are offering some discounts on this Rs.99 recharge, but here is a trick by which you can enjoy the Jio Prime subscription for almost free.
Although I must make it clear that this trick doesn’t offer you a discount of some sort but instead it’s about cashback. If you’re still interested follow these steps.
STEP 1: Download or Update your Jio Money Wallet App to the latest version and register on it.
STEP 2: Become a Jio Prime Member by doing a Rs. 99 recharge using your Jio Wallet by adding money to your wallet through debit/credit card or net banking.
STEP 3: You’ll receive a cashback of Rs.50 for this recharge in your Jio Money Wallet.
STEP 4: Do your first recharge using the Jio Money Wallet App. For example, if you do a recharge of Rs.303 or higher, you’ll again receive a cashback of Rs.50
Thus you effectively get Rs. 100 as cashback. This would mean that you got the Jio Prime Subscription for free. But as mentioned earlier, it’s a cashback program and you’ll have to recharge using the Jio Money Wallet App first to avail it. If you face any problem following this tutorial, please let us know.
