Apple Watch 3 could be much thinner, revealed by a patent filed by Apple that Taptic Engine will be moved to straps.
This watch is claimed to be slimmer than the other 2 models for the simple fact that the Taptic Engine is moved from the body of the watch to the straps. The soul reason to do so is to reduce the size of the Apple watch 3 to give it a slimmer and smarter look. The makers are planning to transmit the tactile signals from the engine directly to the hands of the users.
The earlier version of the Apple watches had a unique feature which used to produce an effect mild enough on the wrist of the user. The body of the watch will be slimmer and lighter as the Taptic engine will be placed in the strap making it a breakthrough invention again by Apple to keep on making their devices thinner.
It is also expected to feature a camera for FaceTime thereby reducing the dependency on the iPhone device. This does not mean that if you change the strap you would not be able to use the Apple watch 3.
The connectors for the strap will have the Taptic device so that you can change the strap anytime you wish.
This patent was recently filed in June 2016. So there are fair chances that the Apple watch 3 will have this feature making the watch slimmer than the current Apple watch 2.
The Apple watch 2 is still considered as one of the smartest watches in the market. However, with the Apple watch 2, it was told that the watch will be 40% slimmer than the first version.
The new version is expected to have better features with more sensors added in the device which can monitor the physical activities of the user along with the current health status and can determine the blood sugar levels as well.
All these are yet to be confirmed as Apple has not yet spilled the beans over this new device. So you have to wait for the release of the Apple watch 3.
