Apple wants to add 10 new Unicode Emoji

Apple has added more than 100 new Emoji in its latest mobile operating system iOS 10, it is only available for developers and public beta users. iOS 10 launch is near and Apple wants to add new emoticons to its standard set. Not so long ago Unicode Consortium fully updated Emoji pack used within applications. Apple has also developed its own ideas on this subject.

The company has requested to add 10 new emoticons to the standard set.

Peter, who has worked in the company’s 28 years old software developer, has sent a corresponding request to the Unicode Technical Committee. To simplify the process he has offered individual icons mock ups of  Emoji: artist, astronaut, fireman, pilot and lawyer. Each of them male and female.

It is noteworthy that Apple offered two options display emoticons: gradient that they seemed more volume, and in a minimalist style, as in the recent versions of the mobile operating system.

It is noteworthy that part of a set of emoticons Emoji 4.0 is now available in beta versions of iOS 10
