How To Activate Night Mode / Night Shift on all of your Apple Devices ?

You can save your eyes by activating “night mode” / “night shift” on all your Apple devices.

Apple is really creative when it comes to its design architecture on its software that’s been used on all the Apple devices. I really liked the idea of night mode, it was brought on iOS 9.3 for all the Apple devices: the night mode that lets you to change the color of your screen to rest your eyes or just add a style effect on your devices.

Night Mode: it’s been used by many other apps like Twitter. It updated its app for users enabling Night mode, that I used on official twitter app.

Let’s get started,

How Do I Enable “Night Mode” on Mac :

Mac Software is the designed to it’s perfection, beating up windows 10 in terms of design and features. So activating Night mode on your macOS is really simple, just you need to follow these steps.

The night mode on your computer will change colors in the menu bar, dock and menu in order to have white text on a black background. To activate this mode:

Step #1: Go to System Preferences, located in launchpad or do a simple spotlight search (shortcut: command + Space) by typing “System Prefernces”

Step #2: Then Go to the General Tab, located top left.

Step #3: Check box Use a dark menu bar and dock located on Appearance tab.

Step #4: Here you go, twerps.You’ve just activated the dark mode on your Mac . To return to normal mode, you only have to uncheck the box.

I really like the idea of “nightmode” it makes my eyes so restful when I work late nights.

How Do I Enable Night Mode on Apple Tv:

Regarding this mode on your multimedia center, the changes made will more simply touch the theme used with a darker wallpaper. 

Step #1: Go To Settings.

Step #2: Then you move into the section “General

Step #3: You have to select Dark, in Apperiance tab.  The theme will change to a darker color.

So finally, we go to iPhone, and iPad.

How Do I Enable Night Shift on iPhone and iPad:

Since iOS 9.3, there is a mode Night Shift feature inspired by a very famous jailbreak tweak by “f.lux“. which changes the color of the display  mainly during night.Indeed, the Night Shift mode reduces the blue light level of the screen. The screen becomes more orange in the evening to activate this mode:

Step #1: Go into Setting, in iPhone / iPad.

Step#2: You can see “Display and Brightness“, tap into that.

Step #3: Tap “Night Shift“, then you can program/schedule when “Night Shift” have to be enabled.

  • You just need to select From and To time for activation. By default, the time slot is from 10 pm to 7 am.
  • Or just you can manually Enable it.

The Night Shift is also accessible from the control center of your iPhone or iPad. You can activate or deactivate it quickly by pressing the Night Shift button.
