Xiaomi has expanded its market by many folds over the years. It is no longer limited to just smartphones but has expanded its market to smartwatches, earphones, power banks, etc. Mi Powerbanks have acquired quite good popularity over the years thanks to the impeccable pricing and compact size factor. Xiaomi has just released an upgrade to its last year’s 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank.
The new 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank has been priced at CNY 149 (around Rs. 1,450) and will go on sale in China starting 19 December. The Mi Powerbank will be made available in White colour and it sports the same old plastic body instead of the aluminium body. The USP of this power bank isn’t its massive 20,000 mAh battery but, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The all-new 20,000 mAh Mi Power Bank houses a high-density lithium-polymer battery and offers two-way fast charging for up to two devices simultaneously. The power bank measures power bank measures 135.5×67.6×23.9mm and thus has a more compact form factor than its predecessor.
The new Mi Power Bank houses two USB ports with 5.1V / 3.6A rating and supports 5V/2.4A-9V/2A-12V/1.5A and can charge almost all smartphones, tablets and even the latest Apple MacBook. Xiaomi has launched the new 20,000 mAh Mi Power Bank only in China right now, but we expect it to arrive soon in India and other global markets as well.
